IAFC Volunteer and Combination Officers Section (VCOS) Chairman Timothy S. Wall talks with several members of the new VCOS Silver Ribbon Report, titled Opening New Doors, that details best practices for junior firefighter, explorer and other youth firefighter programs.

Guests include: Chief Dan Eggleston, Deputy Chief Mike Jaffa, Fire Marshal Kevin Kowalski and Cliff Takawna, the director of public safety at Learning for Life. Each of the guests provided research and helped author the report, which was sponsored by the VCOS.
