An electrical short caused a two-alarm fire in an apartment in Fort Worth, TX, on Dec. 20, 2004. There were no injuries and 13 people were displaced by the fire, which caused $300,000 in damage.
Dedication
This month's Firehouse® is dedicated to Staff Sergeant/Firefighter Ray Rangel, 29, of the 7th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department at Dyess Air Force Base in Texas; Chief Engineer Angelo Petta, 46, of the City of Garfield, NJ, Fire Department; Captain Mark McCormack, 36, of the Santa Clara County, CA, Fire Department; Captain Grady Burke 39, of the Houston, TX, Fire Department; and Lieutenant Michael Lee Crawford, 51, of the Carroll County, GA, Fire Rescue, who died in the line of duty, February 2005.
