On This Month's Cover:

Chicago’s Squad 5 operates at a 3-11 alarm fire on June 29, 2002. The fire ripped through the cockloft of a row of stores on the South Side. Twelve engines, eight trucks and numerous special units operated. The high heat and heavy fire took a toll on firefighters.
