On This Month's Cover:

An unprecedented 16 alarms were transmitted following the explosion of a bomb in an underground parking garage at New York's 110-story twin towers of the World Trade Center on February 26, 1993. During the first few hours the response consisted of 63 engines, 51 ladders and 23 battalion chiefs. More than 1,045 people were injured.
