On This Month's Cover:
This month's cover is a photograph of a fire staged by the Baltimore County,
Maryland Fire Depatment during a training evolution at an airport. The image,
captured by a Baltimore County fire photographer, earned him the Grand Award
in the 1991 Impact thro ugh Applied Photography Competition. The annual contest
is sponsored by Eastman Kodak Company, Professional Photographers of America and
a photo trade journal.
